I never do movie reviews, I go to the cinema a lot, and I’m generally easy to please, so I don’t make a good critic…

…however….

I’ve seen two films lately that are worth mentioning, on opposite ends of the scale.. one was heavily hyped, the other.. based on a theme park ride..

I’ve been looking forwards to the Hulk for a long time.. I believed all the hype.. I watched the film … well some of it.. after an hour I walked out.

I’d heard there was a Pirates of the Caribbean movie coming out.. based on the ride at Disneyland.. what a crap concept for a film that is…

but I went to see it… then saw it again, again, and once more.  Is is without doubt the best film I’ve seen in a long time.

Captain Jack Sparrow is simply the best pirate ever.
