This site is currently hosted on Pixies server because I’m currently having problems with the company I pay to host mine.

It’s a long story, I may mutter about in a blog sometime.  It has all the elements of a great blog: me, pixie, a transvestite (not one of the above), a Scotsman, a Yorkshireman, a pagan religion, debtor notices, lost sites, legal action, scooby doo (really), called in favours, dead ends

Sounds like the makings of a good blog huh?  Sadly that’s not what I’m gonna talk about, instead I’m gonna mutter about tech support again.

The above gripping storyline eventually led to me today being unable to contact my website host, their email links are bouncing, and their website is still not finished.. which is a bad sign…

But I know they’re still active cos my web address still works, so they must still be paying DSVR who’s servers they use.

So I phoned DSVR, explained the situation, explained that I can’t contact [name of company removed at their request], can DSVR give me a contact for them?

DSVR tech support told me “We can’t give out contact details without permission.  If you contact them, get them to give us permission, then we can give you their contact details” ….!!!

In Conclusion:  Bloody Tech Support!
