I … Like … Busted

How did that happen?

One minute I’m embarrassed to be stood next to Claire in WH Smiths as she buys a Busted cd..

Next I let her listen to it in my car on the way home

Then she leaves it in the car by mistake

Then I see them on Frank Skinner and they seem quite funny (but then Frank Skinner manages to make everyone seem cool, funny and likeable when he interviews them).

Then I’m bored with the radio on the way to work one day, and Busted is in the cd player…

Now I like Busted ..

I feel so ashamed!

(and before WrongMark adds a comment to say liking Busted is nothing to be ashamed about .. I know he likes them, and I know that he likes them for the same reason that 14 year old girls do.  That doesn’t apply to me)

But on the other hand … they did write a song about time travel and had the decency to mention flux capacitors.
They’ve also sung about searching the internet for naked pictures of Britney .. so they can’t be all that bad!

So in conclusion, Best Music of the year: Busted

    You obviously didn’t watch the one with Matthew Kelly then? He scared crap out of me..

    Oh, and I like busted too, and I’m not wrong, .. I do however have quite bad taste in music in many peoples opinions though, so dunno how much that helps ;o)

    I can tell you what its doing for me (IE6 SP1)… odd lines sometimes when scrolling up and down, but most noticeably recently- in the list of programmes on Sky One if I move the mouse over them and leave “The Gimp”, all of the entry between “Jake 2.0” and “Fat Friends” becomes invisible.

    I had thought it was just a quirk with my browser & pop-up blocker software combo, and it didn’t seem serious enough to mention.

    Yeah, same thing as was happening to gaz.. except when I scrolled over the comments piccy for this one, it made lies of the day invisible and the scroll bar went funny.

    hmm weird .. dunno why it does that, but by removing the list tags I seem to have sorted it ..? does it work for everyone?

    The blogs aren’t going invisible.. but the scrollbar seems to go a bit wonky when I highlight the comments bit.. but.. meh.. it’s not buggering it up anyway, so fine by me..

    Is your pc fixed by way?

    phee: Have you/Claire got both of Busted’s albums or just the one? As well as the first one “Busted”, theres another one “A Present For Everyone” released just a couple of months ago.

    If you’ve only got the one, you might want to buy the other on Monday hehe. Nothing to be embarrased about 😉
