I knocked my next-door neighbours wall down with my car on Friday

Not an important wall .. her house isn’t going to collapse or anything … well you know .. it hasn’t yet.

I hit the corner of the wall, and there was a kind of domino ripple effect as the collapsing spread along the length of the wall.


Parking Ticket update

I got a second letter from the Central Ticket Office, just saying the same as the first, that they were looking into it ..

.. in the mean time I got another ticket, in exactly the same circumstances .. I feel another indignant letter coming on.


Yorkshire

Claire moves to Yorkshire with her job in about two weeks .. :/

    Not an important wall .. clearleh not a very solid wall either … was it polystyrene or already falling apart or something? Because if it wasn’t the British Army must be conning us about needing multi-million pound tanks if they could just get you to drive into obstructions in your car!

    If anything in your blog ever deserved a piccy, it should have been the devestation you wrought on your neighbours property with your wild driving 😉

    Seriously though mate, I trust it was just a walking-speed incident that didn’t injure you in any way other than your pride, which is why you’re able to blog about it today.

    And send the Central Ticket Office a really good letter this time (remaining polite of course), getting a second ticket within a month when using a designated work area for what its designed for is madness.

    As to whether wall is solid gaz, it depends how hard you hit it… you should have seen the mess after someone drove into our wall.. its one of those made from large solid chunks of stone.. and one got knocked clear across the drive and made a dent in the car…I’m guessing phee’s was a little smaller though (o:

    Original ticket was for speeding, I suspected a running gag when they then got me for parking, now they’ve got me for parking again I’m getting annoyed.
