As usual when I’ve been away for a while, there is loads to blog about, but none of it very interesting … I always feel like I’m making you sit through my holiday photo’s.

So I’ll skip through it and keep it quick.

I ate Christmas dinner with my parents, then drove to Yorkshire and had Christmas dinner 3 hours later with everyone who lives at the pub with Claire.

After Christmas dinner (2nd) I had a few drinks from the bar, but as the pub was closed, just made a note of what I drank and paid for it on boxing day … £53!! I nearly fell over (through shock, not drunkenness).

Had an uneventful but enjoyable week in Wetherby, Mojo and Pixie came over for New Years Eve, was fun.

Had a day at home, then went to London with Claire and her family. We saw the Lion King for her parents anniversary, they’d bought me my ticket as my Christmas present.. (this is the first year her parents haven’t bought me an ‘electric shock’ game for Christmas … maybe they’re starting to like me!)

In the hotel, I looked at the following menu and ordered a teacake

    1 Tea-Cake  1.95

Served with butter and a choice of preserves

They brought me a cup of tea and a cake … I tried to explain what I’d actually wanted, but everyone working in the hotel was foreign and they just kept smiling and nodding at me.

Got home late last night, and back at work today …
