Was in London this weekend for Not Fade Away, the latest (and last) Angel con.  I don’t bother with the celebrity stuff anymore, just go (to quote someone else) “for the booze, banter and boiler room…” the drinking usually starts about 6pm on Thursday and runs through til about 6am on Monday.

Don’t think I was sober for the entire 3 days I was there 🙂

I always get searched by airport security (unless I travelled with Claire, in which case she did), but this time I walked through security at the same time as John Barnes, ex Liverpool player who was on my plane. Security searched him instead of me!
Also on the plane a few seats from me was John Stapleton.  Took me the entire flight to work out who he actually was tho.

In London I shared a room with my usual con mates, Brett,J,Debs,Sarah, Lee & Ben

Got so many stories and stuff that happened in just those few days, was just a mad weekend from start to finish!

Also I got fed the best chat up line that’s ever been used on me.. girl came up to me at about 4am one of the mornings and said “hey, wanna go have sex?”. That’s how all chat up lines should be!

Got to the con, met some drunken famous folk, hung out with loads of friends, got banned from the hotel we stayed in, got caught naked in embarrassing situations, unexpected sex, some of it in the hotel boiler room (which hopefully explains the earlier quote), sneaked into the parties we didn’t pay for, used fake id, trashed (accidentally) hotel rooms, danced lots, 72 hours of drinking, an Angel cast member approached us in the carpark and tried to score drugs off my mate, projectile vomited a lot, accidentally locked a maid in our room, smuggled alcohol, broke a stairlift, (twice), got tattooed with permanent marker, badly bruised a friend, got caught trespassing, freed some ducks.. just a mad mad weekend!

These weekends are so different to anything else I ever do, it’s like 72 hours where (we think) the rules don’t apply, it’s Thursday now and I’m still buzzing from it!

Altho am back at work now and being sensible again!
