A conversation with Will.

This conversation was much more awkward than the cartoon suggests.

I had hoped for a chuckle, and carry on with our day. Possibly with everyone involved occasionally remembering and thinking to themselves “boy, that mcphee sure is funny”.

But that’s not what happened. Will instantly accepted it as true and was excited to hear more. And the waitress who had first knocked over the coffee cup was just looking at me waiting for me to explain about the spider.

After I said “.. no”, there was an awkward pause, then everyone carried on with their day.

Cringe.
