In the early days of this blog, I debated getting a Force FX lightsaber. It was a tempting thought, but I worried it might be a bit too frivolous – and, well, expensive.

Eventually, I gave in and got one. And, yes, it was totally frivolous… and totally awesome! But when I moved to Australia, I couldn’t figure out a way to bring it with me safely, so it’s (hopefully) still tucked away at my parents’ place in England.

Buying a replacement here seemed excessive. I told myself it was definitely too pricey and far too indulgent. Right?

Okay, maybe I have a bit of a lightsaber problem.
