I’d spent some time with him, coaching polite, thoughtful answers.
So when the principal asked what he likes learning at kindy, I was confident his response would be clever, charming, maybe even insightful.

He said: “Farty BumBum.”

Could’ve gone worse. He’s certainly said weirder things to strangers.
