I’ve not gotten around to blogging about the Blackpool Buffy con yet, and will probably now end up doing a joint blog with the Heathrow Angel con I’m going to in a few weeks, but I did get round to scanning in the photos of me hugging celebrities, which I’ve stuck below 

Pixie is concerned that I possess some kind of a ‘hugging curse’ and that ill times befall any celebrity / character I touch.

In this post I hugged, in the following order (and using their character names):

Fred:  Recently died.

Darla:  Died giving birth to Connor (see below)

Lorne:  Actually … he’s alright .. except his show got cancelled

Connor:  Written out of the show

Lilah:  Died

Drusilla:  Well technically I guess she died when she became a vamp, but (other than her show being cancelled) she’s done ok

As such Pixie gave me a list of characters I wasn’t allowed to hug.

I of course hugged them all.

Xander (Buffy)

Xander and Anya (Buffy)

Andrew and Amanda (Buffy)

Amy (Buffy)

The Firefly Crew (Firefly)

Malcolm Reynalds (Firefly), also Caleb (Buffy)

Kaylee (Firefly)

Pixie particularly didn’t want me to hug Kaylee from Firefly, so I made sure to get photographed hugging her twice 😀

They should be safe though, Buffy has finished, and Firefly is cancelled .. there is still the upcoming Firefly movie for bad things to happen tho..
