A couple of weekends ago I went to Hyperion, the Angel con in Heathrow.

It’s hard to explain why these things are so great, there’s lots of drinking, a scattering of famous folk, and just a lot of childish fun.

Most nights up til stupid o’clock in the morning, and with the photoshoots with famous folk generally starting at 9am, not much sleep gets had (my explanation for looking so bad in every single photo). (see later for examples).

One night we carried on drinking after the party, got thrown out the hotel, so got drunk on the grass outside. We turned up back at the hotel at 6am, convinced them we were guests and got free cooked breakfasts.

The next night after the party a huge water-fight started, pints of water flying everywhere, after a while we decided we’d better take it outside cos we were getting dirty looks from the hotel staff 🙂

I slept through the group photo on one of the mornings, which was a shame cos it’s a great photo.

These cons are just a weekend of hanging out with mates, being drunk for most of it, and just childish, childish fun 🙂 I love it!
