Yesterdays result from Singapore that London has been awarded the Olympics in 2012 is fantastic news, I am well chuffed.

Paris were by far the run-away favourites, and London’s win was heavily against the odds.

It really made my day 🙂

Not cos of the poxy athletics though.. when the Olympics eventually do come around I’ll try to avoid actually watching any of it, to me it’s just dull.

It’s not even beating the French, altho that’s always good.

My joy is based on the hefty bet I had placed on the ‘heavily against the odds’ London win 😀
