While unexpectedly in New Zealand, we visited Paradise Valley Springs Wildlife Park, and I had an amazing experience – I got to play with a lion cub!

He was in a cage, but that didn’t stop him biting me a little!

The rest of the park was great, but I couldn’t help spending most of my time with the cub. It was definitely the highlight of the visit for me! 🙂

I feel like this shouldn’t need saying, but just like with the dolphins – no, I did not touch the lion’s genitals, regardless of what the photo might suggest!
