The New Doctor Who?

Last weekend I helped Claire move to Wetherby (North Yorkshire), we had to travel in two separate cars, and the journey was fairly uneventful (well it was for me, Claire got lost).

As I loitered around Wetherby town centre waiting for Claire to find her way, I walked past the police station, and spotted a TARDIS outside!

Eventually Claire found me, but instead of going straight to find her new home, I flagged her down and made her take a photo of me with the TARDIS.

Yay!

I’m very impressed that Claires new home is near a TARDIS smile

    Firstly, Wetherby is in West Yorkshire, not North Yorkshire, okay, only a small error in some eyes 😀

    The Police Box has been there for years. I had a friend who’s father was a police officer and he lived in a house yards away from the box. Fun days when a young lad playing around the box.. we never had a Doctor Who tho…

    Crime in Wetherby? There is crime, drug’s, thefts and burglaries, and 1 or 2 murders in it’s history that I know of, fair few suicides, no reason for them apart from depression, dont think Wetherby is/was to blame for them.

    The police station is no longer manned.. Shock horror, having a police station that isn’t manned is just darn stupid. All the police come from Leeds, they do sweeps thru Wetherby in an afternoon as they patrol a large region!!

    It’s very near North yorkshire tho ;p

    Claire’s pub is in Sicklinghall, the next village along (2 miles) from Wetherby, which is in North Yorkshire, with the border somewhere between the two.

    And yeah I was still wrong, just offering mitigation 😀

    And as for the murders and high level of suicide .. are you sure it’s just depression related? Maybe that’s the reason the Tardis is there .. the doctor is trying to get to the bottom of the mystery haunting the residents of Wetherby, West Yorks.

    Thats cool.

    I bet theres next to no crime in the area because the police will always arrive at the right time to arrest the criminals in the act smile
