In WrongMark’s defence, we were having a serious discussion about ninjutsu when NinjaRich (our sensei) dropped in the mention of time travel, so he could be forgiven for believing his sensei for the split second it took for the actual words to sink it.

“My favourite Monkeys Like Us strips are the ones that just capture real conversations I’ve been part of. Whenever I try to write an actual joke, it can feel a bit forced, but funny things people naturally say can just work so well.

For this strip, I tweaked the wording a bit to keep it consistent with the similar Radioactive Spiderbite comic, and I like the idea of sticking with this format for these type of conversations in the future – though, who knows? 😄
