Following on from the very impressive subtle insult of a year ago…
Saturday night I was in Blackpool in my favourite rock club.
I was wearing a Billabong T Shirt.
The barmaid served me and said:
“That’s a really nice t-shirt, it looks really good.”
“It’s usually difficult for guys your size to get nice t-shirts”
I’d like to think she meant me being tall, and wasn’t Actually calling me fat!
Here’s what some Passing Idiots had to say:
I must admit I’d never thought you were especially tall, though I usually tend to overlook the obvious when it is irrelevant at the time, and I could be wrong. Are you actually about 6’ 1” tall like Bryan McFadden?
You certainly are not fat though, or weren’t last November. Fit maybe, but definitely not fat.
Just be happy girls are noticing you for (probably) the right reasons.
